Environment Systems works in close collaboration with a number of key partners.
The company works in particular with the Earth Observation Laboratory within IGES who provide internationally recognised remote sensing and research expertise.
This relationship enables Environment Systems to deliver joined up and innovative remote sensing and GIS techniques, providing the customer with effective and cost efficient mapping solutions. Solutions that are unique to this collaboration.
Provides technical and management consultancy in the aviation domain. Drawing on many years of experience in aircraft test and evaluation, the company undertakes targeted research and development for both internal projects and for customers.
Its operating arm, Gubua Group, provides a broad range of airborne remote sensing solutions supplementing satellite and other forms of data capture. Experienced teams are able to deliver timely, accurate and reliable imagery, using specifically developed platforms and sensor payloads which provide high resolution geo-referenced data sets for target areas. Lightweight, small footprint UAVs – both rotary and fixed wing – deliver flexible and timely data. Avoiding the use of manned aviation reduces the carbon footprint, and provides highly flexible and cost effective solutions.
The Callen-Lenz team has considerable experience of remote sensing in land applications which together with a suite of specially developed sensors, provides a new and growing capability for the agricultural industry.
Callen-Lenz is our partner in Project URSULA (UAS Remote Sensing for Use in Land Applications) a 2-year research and development programme to explore the potential for advanced remote sensing in land applications, primarily in high input arable farming. It complements currently available remote sensing techniques, for example, satellite-derived information or real-time data, and pushes horizons for information and land management.

Thomson Ecology is the UK’s leading ecology specialist covering the full range of habitats and species found in terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments. Working with planning authorities, regulatory bodies and government agencies on behalf of clients, Thomson Ecology ensures that the process of protected species licensing runs smoothly and that development projects meet the requirements of current wildlife legislation. Our field survey and analysis work is timely and we work to brief and budget. We also undertake conservation work for government, monitoring agri-environment schemes and designated wildlife sites, and run the majority of components of the National Marine Biological Analytical Quality Control (NMBAQC) scheme for the Environment Agency.
Since its inception in 2008, Team Projects Ltd has specialised in evaluating the impact and supporting the development and implementation of UK environmental policy. We employ an evidence-led approach, reviewing existing scientific evidence and/or sourcing new information, and work proactively with project stakeholders, science and policy experts. We present and communicate findings in ways that engage people and help inform decision making. Our core activities are evaluation of evidence for policy, report writing, project management, consultation and stakeholder engagement including surveys, interviews and workshops. Director, Jacqueline Parker has a further 15 years experience delivering reviews, business cases, applications-led research projects and environmental monitoring. She worked on the programme management of the environmental monitoring of the original agri-environment schemes in England and has led projects such as the Countryside Survey Scoping Study and Strategic Analysis of UK Environmental Monitoring Activity which shaped the direction and focus of UK environmental research and monitoring.
